Honey, people get similar ideas at the same time all the time. Think of it this way... "Great Minds Think Alike." You can even say in your author's notes that you had already started your story before I posted mine and aren't trying to copy it (or whatever). Even if you haven't started physically writing it, you've obviously been plotting it out in your head, and I'm counting that as writing.
