LJ Questions

dragonydreamsI think that I am going to undertake the daunting task of tagging my LJ this weekend. As you may or may not have noticed, I haven't been using tags on my entries. I've learned how handy they can be when I'm looking at my friends' LJs and thought it was high time to add them to mine.
Does anyone have a particular system they like to use for their tags? How specific do you usually make them for fics? Any advice would be much appreciated.
Oh, and while I'm asking questions about LJ... Do you know if it's possible to buy more than the 100 extra userpics? I'm always at capacity and would be willing to buy more if it's possible. Since I like using so many of my own, I hardly ever get to use the ones that I snag from all the other great icon makers out there, or all of the other fandoms I'm interested in.
