I've been working... really
Aug. 12th, 2004 09:53 amFor anyone who has been looking here to see why I haven't posted anything new for the last few weeks, it's not here either.
Now, that's not to say that I haven't been writing. I have been working on my story for the W/G ficathon that is due before I go on vacation next week. (Actually it's due while I'm gone, so I need to finish it before I leave on Wednesday.) I'm almost done with it. Hopefully, if I can remember to turn off my messenger and stop playing in Paint Shop making icons, I can finish it tonight or tomorrow.
This is also why I haven't been posting for Tumblin' Down. I only have one more chapter to write for it, but this other story really needs to be finished first.
I plan on taking my ancient laptop with me to Vermont with the hope that I will find time to a) finish TD, b) start my Vampyre Haven ficathon story, c) start my BtVS Challenge ficathon story. Ambitious? Yes.
I have also been distracted working on the new layout for the Sunnydale Memorial Fanfiction Awards now that voting has slowed down (hint hint). I still have a couple of months before it needs to be finished, but this gives me plenty of time to work out details for the new layout with LaDy SiN.
Of course, my new favorite distraction would have to be making icons. Those of you who know me pretty well, know that I have been getting into playing around with photo manipulation lately. The two icons I use for my LJ were made by me. When it isn't driving me completely batty because I can't make PSP8 do what I want, it's fun. My brother will be bringing me Photoshop next week, so then I can go insane figuring out how to use that.
