Almost Happy New Year

Remember the perfect roommate I thought I'd found on Friday? Well, Sunday morning she called me to say that she decided not to move after all. She was going to be breaking her lease in order to move somewhere closer to her new job and where there was parking, since she bought a car to get to the new job. Her roommate, who was her friend, was more upset than she thought, and for the sake of her friendship, she decided not to move.

I was too bummed to post about it yesterday. Back to square one.
