I broke down and got a paid LJ account. Since I've been making icons, I wanted to be able to choose from more than three to display. I really liked the three I had uploaded, but made a new one for Blood Track Mind and wanted to use it too. ::sigh:: At least it's not a lot of money. And with the more icons I also got a new look.

Hey, if I didn't have an LJ to make icons for, I wouldn't have to pay for one to use them all.

I am going to use it! I swear! But you can use it too! I don't mind at all!!! Are you mad at me??? I just got lazy and didn't switch my icons! Some of us don't have paid accounts!

Not mad, per se. You just made a big deal out of me making you an icon which you then never used.

And for the record, I always had all three icon spots filled until I bought the paid account... today.

I'm sorry! I'm a jerk! But I just tried to load the icon here and it's too big. I did try to load it and use it, though. But it says it exceeds the size.

Well, it came with instructions and I don't know how to do one of the steps. I unzipped the file and then step 2 says, "Upload all mood images to a host that allows remote linking to your LJ account." I don't know how to do this. Do you know a 'host that allows remote linking'?

it's a free site that allows you to upload stuff like moodthemes, icons & so on and direct link them.

It worked! It worked! Thanks, I looked at the instructions your mood creater spelled out and they were easier to follow than what I had. Thanks. I've heard of photobucket.com before, but had never used the site. Woo Hoo, I have Smile Time mood icons now.

No problem.... Always glad to help someone out. It took me about a week to figure out things on LJ. Thankfully all the other journal platforms out there that I've tried (deadjournal, greatestjournal & blurty) all use the same code as livejournal so it's easy enough to use.

Anyhow I am going to check out your journal with your mood theme. And Girl from the South is awesome with her instructions. Mood themes are time consuming but good.

And if you like Giles... I think it was wickedfox or she has a post about it, has a Giles mood theme.

I thought about using a Giles mood theme (I saw a couple different ones when looking for fun BtVS/AtS ones), but I switch my pairings so often that I wanted something broader. After all, my last two stories were W/S.
