A win, a postponement, and pimping.

Winners were posted last night for the Fade to Black Awards, although winners were not emailed (at least I wasn't). Good thing I checked my LJ. Inked Retribution was Runner Up for The Crack That Whip Award.

Congratulations also need to go out to velvetwhip, dark_lycoris and writtenbyfates.

If you've seen my nomination for Legal Persuassion at Love's Bitch Awards, be prepared to see it again. I have requested to have it held over to the next round because the link going to it doesn't work and my wrong name was used (dragonydreams as opposed to Elisabeth). My request to have it fixed was lost, and with voting well under way by now (it ends January 20th), I asked to have it carried over because any votes for it in this round would be based on people recognizing my LJ name, not on the quality of the story.

I have TWO new awards sites to pimp today too.

mrsdrake has just launched Serenity on the Hellmouth. As stated at the site: These awards are for fanfic and fanart that center around the characters in the Jossverse - Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel the Series, Firefly, and Serenity. I think this is a fabulous idea and you should all check it out and nominate like crazy.

claudia6913 has also launched a new awards site today: Best of...Awards. This will be an annually run site to determine the best writers/stories/art of the previous year. Authors/Artists can not nominate themselves at this site, so it's up to you, the fans, to nominate your favorites.

The URL that was submitted was correct, but when Missy posted it, she accidently added a space at the end of it, which will screw the link up. She admits that it's her mistake.

That I couldn't tell you. Maybe she just slipped up and used my email instead of my name, since she knows that my email is the same as my LJ name. *shrugs* It's possible.

Aaah...you just saved me some work. I promised Michelle that I would pimp her site on my lj. I doubt there's anyone on my flist who isn't on yours, so my work is done *grin*.

lol. I saw you pimped the site at a couple of groups she isn't on. Good for you. It fit in well with my plans to announce about FTBA & LBA. Then when Missy opened her site too, it turned into a dual pimpage. I'm really excited about Michelle's site though.
