I am very excited to announce that today is the 2nd Anniversary of the launch of Hairy Eyeball, the archive that I created to honor Willow/Giles fanfiction.

I'll be updating the site when I get home tonight with a new story of mine, as well as a new author.

Not refresh. HE is #2 on my Favorites list (my LJ is #1---easier access and your site is #4) and I just kept checking until it was up.

I must offer up GINORMOUS apologies for not being "able" to read your new fic at the moment - I'm still trying to get through the series spoiler free. I read up to when Giles arrives at the dorm and it's just wonderful stuff - nice use of the lyrics!!! Soon...I will return and read and comment and squee!

I didn't realize that my new 'ship W/G was unconventional and dying. *sobs* They are SO perfectly matched...Serves me right for being telly free for the last twenty years.

Thank you! When I created the archive most of the W/G ones I'd been reading at weren't taking submissions anymore or had disappeared completely. There's still so much great fic for this pairing that's just lost because I couldn't reach the authors to get them on Hairy Eyeball.

I'm always thrilled when someone new to the series immediately recognizes how great Willow & Giles are for each other. Welcome aboard! We certainly need new blood. I was going to wait until you finished posting it, but I would like to have 'Metaphorical Translations of Waking Expectations' at HE.
