dragonydreamsIt's Yom Kippur so I'm home today - and fasting. Since I was a lazy procrastinator, I don't have a synagogue to go to this year. But my dad sent me my High Holy Days prayer book from our old synagogue and I've been reading the services from there. I know that's what he does now that he doesn't belong to any congregation.
I hadn't set my alarm last night and didn't get up until 9:45 this morning. I went to bed around midnight. I usually go to bed between 11:30-12. I've been tired all week and I guess this goes to show I'm really not getting enough sleep.
I've got a couple of chapters to beta today to keep me distracted. Plus I need to wach this week's Close to Home and Lost. Both are on opposite other shows I watch, so I had to tape them. I also need to make a run to the store at some point because somehow I'm out of tissues. All that I have are the little travel packs, which is better than nothing, but my nose has been very runny lately.
I wish those of you who are Jewish an easy fast today.
