Productive day
Jun. 11th, 2005 02:34 pmToday I did something that I've been putting off for months. I went and got three new tires for my car (one was replaced a year and a half ago when I blew the tire) and my oil changed. It's been over 5000 miles since my last oil change. It only took them 30-45 minutes to do it (I wasn't counting since I had a book with me). But yesterday was payday and to my surprise, my dad had sent me a monetary gift for my apartment since he didn't buy anything big for it when he was here. No more using "no money" as an excuse.
Then I got myself to the grocery store since I was pretty much down to cheese, eggs, and bad milk in the fridge.
Oh, and I'll be posting a new fic as soon as I finish giving it a final once-over now that all my betas are done with it.
ETA: I'm gonna take a moment to tack on a squee. I was just looking over the nominees at Willowy Goodness Awards and I'm up in way more categories than I thought. The last time I checked, it was only like 2. Now it's...7! I'm blown away. (Although, is it wrong to want to point out to Jen, if I can, that whoever nominated me for the Big Gun Award left off that I'm also webmistress at the SunnyD Awards?)
