Jul. 2nd, 2007 07:52 pmDo you know of any good places where I could download audio books to burn to CD? (That are free or don't cost too much money.)
I'm going to be in the car for a total of 6 hours this coming weekend and figured an audio book may be the way to go to pass the time. I know that I could probably go to my local library and find something, but I'm lazy.
My ideal audio book to take would be the first book of the Dresden Files, since James Marsters reads it. (I know someone on my flist had made it available a while ago and now I'm kicking myself for not downloading it at the time.) Thank you spikeysgrl18

Jul. 14th, 2005 08:54 amI was gonna do this last night, but could barely decifer letters on my monitor by 10pm, so figured I'd go to bed and do it this morning instead.
I signed up for Blockbuster Online's rentals last night. I was looking at it alongside of Netflix, and Blockbuster was $3 cheaper for the same amount of rentals per month: 3 at a time, an unlimited number of rentals a month, and a 2-week free trial. BB is $14.99 per month + 75 cents tax. Both services use the prepaid envelopes to return DVDs when you're done.
My initial queue includes: Troy, Miss Congeniality 2, Closer, Terminal, Vanity Fair, Spiderman 2, and the first season of Highlander. (Highlander being the only thing in that list that I've seen, but not for years.)
So my request... Anyone have any favorite movies I must see? The only things I really don't like are Horror and stupid Comedy.

Like the outside of the Magic Box, the Bronze, the High School, Espresso Pump, the Sunnydale sign, etc. (I already have a cap of the Welcome to Sunnydale sign from School Hard.) Or can you at least point me to eps that you know prominently features these places so that I can cap them myself? Thanks!

Seeking Requests
Jun. 2nd, 2005 01:56 pmCan anyone point me in the direction of a good site/LJ to download a new LJ banner? I want to change my layout to use the Flexible Squares style (already found the instructions on how to customize it), which means that I'll be changing my banner too. I'm just lazy and don't want to make a new one. I tried making two banners last week and ran out of steam on both of them.
I know that I want a lighter colored LJ now. I have a texture that I'm going to try to make full-page size and see if that would work as a background image (cream tones). Picture wise, I'm looking for any of my favorite BtVS characters (Willow, Spike, Angel, Lindsey or Giles) or maybe a nice Phantom of the Opera one, if I can find one.
So, any suggestions on where to look? I've tried doing so searches by interest for banners on LJ, but it's getting frustrating.

I am in search of photos of our favorite BtVS/AtS actors with pets. So far I have ASH, Aly/ASH and Eliza. I'd love to find some of DB, JM, Aly (alone), and CK. If anyone has one/some they can email me, or can direct me to an archive they *know* has some, please point me in the right direction.
