Aug. 2nd, 2010 03:14 pmI have very fond memories of my mom taking us to his Singalongs in Milwaukee when I was a kid. He lived in the same building as her friends in NYC and would sometimes run into him on the street there. He always remembered her. (I don't remember how she knew him, but she did.)

Sep. 14th, 2009 09:17 pmWhile it is not completely unexpected, Patrick Swayze's death is still a surprise. He danced into our hearts as Johnny Castle and hasn't left.

Lorne grew to be one of my favorite characters on Angel (until he killed Lindsey). {Yes, I know Angel told him to do it, but he still pulled the trigger.}

RIP George Carlin
Jun. 23rd, 2008 08:59 amWhen I got into work today I saw that George Carlin had died yesterday. I was lucky enough to see him perform live in Las Vegas during Writercon 2004. The world of comedy has definitely suffered a loss.
